Plain language, not fine print.

What we collect

• Founding host application: your name, email, Charlotte area, cooking style, your story and what guests can expect, hosting experience, preferred seats, and — only if you choose to share them — a club name, a link to your social page or website, and a note.
• Guest early-access list: your first name, email, optional area and dining preferences, your food interests, and your consent choices.
• We also store a timestamp with each submission so the team can review applications in order.

We do not ask for your street address, phone number, payment details, or anything else you would not expect to share to apply or join a list.

Where it goes

Submissions are stored in HOUSEGUEST's secure backend database. The database is configured so that the public website can only add an entry — nobody browsing the site, including other visitors, can read, change, or delete anyone's submission. Only the HOUSEGUEST team can review the entries.

What we do with it

• Reviewing founding host applications, and contacting applicants we would like to talk with.
• Planning the Charlotte pilot: understanding what diners are hungry for and where interest lives.
• Sending early-access updates and invitations if you asked for them.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with other guests, hosts, or advertisers. If you ticked the optional marketing box, you may hear about general HOUSEGUEST news; if you didn't, you won't.

Keeping it or removing it

We keep entries while we plan the Charlotte launch. If you would like your submission removed, email hello@joinhouseguest.com and we will delete it. Founding host applicants can reach the host team at hosts@joinhouseguest.com, and anything else at support@joinhouseguest.com. These are live, monitored addresses — a person on the team will write back.

The rest of the site

Everything else you do on this concept — browsing sample clubs, saving favorites, building a host listing — happens in your own browser only. Those demo interactions are never sent to us. The site does not use advertising trackers.
